Bitten Till I Melt is a manga written by Kayou Amamiya. Within the far into the future Omegaverse a special medicine has been developed which allows Omegas to function normally even when in heat. At Hobin High school despite their wishes Yoshihisa and Takeshi find that they are not one another's destiny pairing.
Synopsis[]
"It's been six years since Takeshi (alpha) and Yoshihisa (omega) have been dating. Even though they have a sweet life together, it doesn't look like the serious Takeshi wants to become a pair with Yoshihisa. "Maybe he doesn't bite me because we're not a 'destiny pair.'" Yoshihisa is so worried about Takeshi's "destiny pair" that he forgets to take his heat suppressant pills and becomes consumed with a very strong heat. The heat is so uncontrollable, the two forget to use contraception and make meltingly passionate love... An omegaverse love story controlled by destiny! Yoshihisa Funao[]
After getting his gender testing results Yoshihisa covers his face as he asks whether Takeshi is there who he has known since the sixth grade. Having learned that he is an Omega Yoshihisa desired to be with Takeshi. With it apparent he is not his destiny pairing Yoshihisa is annoyed which makes him hungry. Especially close to Takeshi he considers that one day he will just disappear from his life with someone else and thinks for Takeshi to not ever find his destiny pairing. A few years later he works at a cafe as a manager and still fantasizes about getting married and raising children with Takeshi.
Takeshi[]
An Alpha who seeks out Yoshihisa and beats away those trying to harass him. Takeshi phones to report that a student has been assaulted at school and that he has caught the assailants. With them supposed to go home together Takeshi has been taking medicine so that he is not affected by Yoshihisa's heat and then states that he will protect him. Years later Takeshi is studying to become a prosecutor and is living with Yoshihisa. Arriving home he suggests they go out tomorrow since he feels bad feeling that Yoshihisa's life revolves around his own schedule. He is observed by Yoshihisa to be a good listener.
Story Introduction[]
Compared to Betas there are less Alphas and Omegas where members of the latter two secondary genders can have destiny pairings between members. After Yoshihisa learns that he is an Omega and Takeshi an Alpha it transpires that despite their hopes they are not a destiny pairing at all. A few years later Yoshihisa and Takeshi have maintained what they had and are living together.[1]
