Tian Guan Ci Fu (Heaven Official's Blessing) is a Chinese novel that has been adapted into manhua with an ONA to air in 2020.


Synopsis[]

About eight hundred years ago, Xie Lian was the Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom. He was beloved deeply by his citizens. He ascended to the heaven at a very young age. Eight hundred years later, Xie Lian ascends to the heaven for the third time and meets a ghost king called Hua Cheng, who joins forces with him as strange events begin to reveal the truth of Xie Lian's past.

Xie Lian[]

Xie Lian is the crown prince of the old kingdom Xian Le who became decimated by a huge plague. He ascended to the heavenly realm as the god of martial arts, god of plagues and god of scrap collecting. He soon after got banished from the heavenly realm and this repeated again once more years later.

Hua Cheng[]

aka. San Lang, Crimson Rain Sought Flower, ghost king, city master. Hua Cheng is the male lead of the series. He is one of the mortal realmsFour Great Calamities, and known as the richest and most dangerous of the three Devastation class Demons. And the sign of his presence is the silver butterfly and the blood rain.

Hua Cheng has spent hundreds of years looking out for Xie Lian even though Xie Lian himself has not known about this fact. And in the chinese anime adaption of the novel he goes under the name of San Lang to help Xie Lian with his mission of the heavenly realm.

Aka. General Ming Guang , The General Who Broke His Sword. Pei Ming is the protector deity and Martial God of the north with nine thousand temples dedicated to his palace. He is known for his love for women, no matter God, Ghost or Human. He is one of the Four Famous Tales: "The General Who Broke His Sword," as well as a member of the The Three Tumors.
