Yu could take Luo to a better place for him, one that could make him rich immediately. It is said how the worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you cannot have them.[2]
As a child, Aoyue was playing a console game by himself. Nearby, others discussed his background as a child star, having heard Aoyue had been acting in commercials since he was two. Where Aoyue was playing alone, Luo approached him where he was dressed as a girl. Where Aoyue thought it was a girl after an autograph, Luo was interested in the console he had and offered gashapons in exchange. When the director called for them to begin acting, Aoyue felt his method of offering a drink in exchange for a kiss as the scene demanded left who he saw as a girl feeling embarrassed.
After Aoyue kissed, the filming staff mentioned how it should have been the other way around, yet it was felt to be good that way.[3] For the commercial, both Aoyue and Luo and were singing about the milk being advertised. Watching the past commercial, presently Luo is embarrassed as a friend laughs that he was a girl. Yun Shu was supposed to be acting at the time, however she was ill at that point hence why Luo played the role.
In class there was a future planning session, where Luo found that zero students had enrolled in the course he was interested in. It transpired that the college Luo applied for had merged with another one, so they did not let any students enrol. Needing to get into a college that does not require tuition fees, Luo has his sister's medical bills in mind.
Having noticed him watching from the edge of the court, Luo's friend informs him of how someone (Yu) is there.[4] After Yu is asked if he has business with them, Yu speaks to Luo alone. Knowing a school he can go to, Yu details they need men with good looks and talent like Luo has. After Yu mentions the money he could earn upon graduation, Luo's friend is suspicious that this is a con and warns Luo about it. Yu hands Luo his business card before departing.
In his room, Aoyue is awakened by his manager Si. Addressing how he is not a child anymore, Si is conscious that Aoyue may be seen as outdated by others. Heading to the director's room, Aoyue raises how Yu was looking for him. Outside the building, Luo wonders if this is the place.[5] Within the director's office, Aoyue discusses with Yu how he has three more years for his contract. Regarding the remaining value felt to be left, Aoyue then questions Yu who is being added to an open spot in a group project.
For the group being formed, Aoyue remarks how everyone else is just a sideshow for him, and he will become a star that no one can even try competing with. Leaving, in the entrance lobby Aoyue comes across Luo informing the receptionist that he is here to see Yu. A week later, Luo struggles to get to grips with the dancing exercises. As a break is called, Luo is asked about his basketball background.[6]
