The Alpha Agenda is a completed novel written by TR and illustrated by cheongdam. The novel was released in 2022. It has been adapted into an ongoing manhwa with chapters across two seasons. The manhwa is written by TR, the same author as the novel, and illustrated by Studio Malans. First released in 2023, manhwa chapters have been published by Bomtoon. It was later published into English by Lezhin US.
Synopsis[]
Jaehee’s always prided himself on being a reasonable alpha. All that pheromone nonsense between alphas and omegas? Ruts? Heats? He thinks it primitive and considers his two-year long relationship with the beta Yeowoon as true, pure love. But all that comes to a screeching halt when he finds himself stuck on a bus with an older omega going through heat. After one night of passion (and infidelity) with the said omega, Jaehee finds himself tormented. He’d always thought himself as a nice guy above all that alpha stuff, so what is he to do now? Jaehee knew that night would be the ruin of him, but he didn’t know just how much, until he comes across the same omega on campus…

Considering himself a married man who loves Lee Yeowoon, he is unsure why he is being intimate with someone else. 21[1], Jaehee considers he is an alpha easy on the eye if he says so himself, and he tends to do well in his studies. Viewing Yeowoon as the person who turned him into a romantic, Jaehee has been together with him for two years. Although exceptionally fond of who he regards as the cutest bunny rabbit Yeowoon, he is unable to contain his urges for an omega he finds on the bus.
Lee Yeowoon[]
While he got the times mixed up he is happy to eventually join Jaehee. A beta, Yeowoon messages Jaehee to update him on his illness. Having a group project in the business building, Yeowoon aims for full credit.
Park Eui[]
In lectures with Jaehee at the Sunwoh University College of Medicine, he is a second year and a department rep. Addressed as Eiji by him, Park is described as a good guy but totally obsessed with power. Noting Jaehee's behaviour, Park reveals Chungyoung may be in his early thirties.
Lee Chungyoung[]
A new professor in the department of alternative traits who teaches Jaehee's class. He is the omega who encountered Jaehee on the bus and went to a hotel with. Introducing himself to the class, Chungyoung will be telling them about what they study over in the alt traits department and what their goals are. If he didn't recognize Jaehee in the lecture theatre he did when it was arranged by another lecturer for them to have dinner opposite one another.

Jaehee's little sister, they were supposed to go shopping together but she took their mom's card and took off.
Kim Chulwoong[]
A lecturer who assigns dissertation research to first-years. He arranges a dinner where Jaehee and Chungyoung are the only ones to turn up. While unaware of their recent background, he asks whether Jaehee would be interested in being an undergrad research assistant.
Story[]
Jaehee attempts to convince himself he is not in a rut, rather is an alpha who has taken his suppressants. Further, the scent is not omega pheromones but instead is just some perfume. As Jaehee contemplates how he is married to Yeowoon he wonders who the omega with him is.
In a separate scenario, Jaehee is on his phone as women nearby comment how hot he is. As he listens to the women discuss alphas who have appeared in the news, Jaehee feels they give all alphas a bad name. Thinking to himself, Jaehee is then pleased to find Yeowoon join him.
Happy to see one another, Jaehee speaks with Yeowoon while considering how as a beta he has no pheromones neither can he sense his. Loving him, Jaehee asks Yeowoon how long it has been, where he replies they saw one another just yesterday. Requesting that Yeowoon move in with him, Jaehee and Yeowoon then head to see a movie together.
Retiring to a hotel beforehand, Jaehee takes into account his irregular heat cycle. Taking the bus back, Jaehee finds an omega who is in heat right next to him.[2]
