Characters[]
Masaki Fujiyoshi[]
Thinking of himself as a stay-at-home parent living with an office worker and their soon-to-be two-year-old son, Masaki feels they are a pretty normal family. An Omega, he finds comments others have on other families to be annoying. Answering that he is an Omega, he thinks about how he has to act normally and remain calm as someone else makes a fuss.
Hiromu Fujiyoshi[]
Crying at Masaki and Hikari interacting with each other, Hiro then mentions that he only has work until noon today, so he arranges for them to go home together. An Alpha, while at work, he fondly views Masaki and Hikari on his phone. Speaking about them to Matsuo, he cannot understand how he does not realize how precious they are. Kissing Masaki, he comments how he worries too much.
Hikari Fujiyoshi[]
Enjoying the vegetables he is having for dinner, Hikari shares how he is glad he gets to eat a lot. When he is taken to Hiro's office to pick him up, Hikari is not as happy with the attention others give him. Crying, Hikari seeks comfort from Masaki and then Hiro as well when he joins them. After napping, he is delighted to awaken to his parents.
Hinata Fujiyoshi[]
The new family member, Hinata, loves her brother Hikari, and Masaki carries her as Hikari climbs on his back. Like Hikari, she is also upset when Hiro leaves for work without giving them a hug first.
Yuuki Hirai[]
Masaki and Hiromu's next-door neighbor had brought flowers to celebrate them moving in. Initially he is rude in answering why he cannot look after Hikari but eventually he becomes Hikari's first friend. Sharing his name and joining Masaki at the park, Yuuki notes how Hikari is happy with him. Concerned he might drop Hikari, he asks Masaki what he should do when his face is being pulled.
Tomohiro Matsuo[]
Working in the same office as Hiro, Matsuo speaks about how moving houses worked well for him. Learning that Masaki is ill, he brings lunch to his house and Hiro's.

Story[]
As Hikari enjoys what he is eating, Masaki and Hiromi discuss their plans for the day. After Hiromi heads to work, Masaki reflects on how he is a stay-at-home parent. They moved to a better location for raising children, which will be a month soon. When Hikari is two, he has managed to turn on the TV, and Masaki sees a report about how a family full of Alphas is surprised that a member is an Omega. On how their family is different, Hiro is an Alpha, and Masaki is an Omega. For how the television show frames the family being discussed, Masaki finds its gossiping aspects annoying.
Within the office, Hiro discusses with a colleague how moving was a good idea. Hiro's thoughts drift towards prejudice towards Omegas. Outside the building, office workers are fussing over Hikari. One is alarmed to discover that Masaki is an Omega. While the man who made the comment is berated by a colleague, Masaki is surprised at the scenario. When Hiro joins them, Hikari remains upset as he speaks for him, and the family heads home.
As Hikari naps, Masaki speaks with Hiro about of his happiness when others say he looks like him. Considering how they feel about one another, Masaki and Hiro begin kissing. At the same time, Masaki hears how the man who made a scene about him being an Omega did so because he was hitting on him. It is clarified that the surprise came from Masaki being an Omega, which he liked. As far as Masaki and Hiro are concerned, they only like one another and Hikari as their child.
Waking from his sleep, Hikari is elated to find Masaki napping beside him. Since Masaki is still sleeping, Hiro guides Hikari to play with Papa. Hiro asks if Hikari was crying earlier because he was concerned for Masaki and says they should protect him together. At the same time, Hiro cuddles Hikari as he states that he and Masaki will protect him.
Outside the residence, Yuuki and his mother discuss how a gay couple who are Alpha and Omega must have been through a lot.[1]
