Sukisho, also known as Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shōganai!! in Japan is a visual novel game developed by UNiSONSHIFT for Windows. From five games a light novel adaption and twelve anime episodes with one OVA have been released.
Synopsis[]
Sunao and I are childhood friends and also college roommates. Due to the Culture Festival, our class decided that we were going to perform "Swan Lake" and made me play the part of the "prince." Sunao, being so slender and delicate to the point that he could be mistaken for a girl, was, of course, chosen to play the role of the "princess." But since he hates to deal with people, he didn't like that idea too much...

Sora Hashiba[]
He is childhood friends with Sunao who like him develops another personality, Yoru. Sora is easy going but can become embarrassed. He gets comically flustered at some of Sunoa's actions and statements. Unable to make sense of a situation Sora considers himself running away may have hurt Sunao's pride but wonders why he is being so considerate of him. Saying sorry for making Nanami worry about him Sora feels it is thanks to him that he became more balanced. Confiding in Nanami and Minato he affirms there are no memories of Sunao and considers him weird especially when he called himself Ran. Sora contemplates the distance he fell and confidently announces his arrival at a science lab. Unless Sunao makes an issue of something in which case Sora will often match it he is supportive of him. When Sunao was embarrassed at the costume he had to wear Sora assured him that he was with Sora to alleviate his concerns.
Sunao Fujimori[]
Having lost his memories Sunao is also unaware that he has an alternate personality named Ran. This causes him to become irritated with Sora when he blames him for being unable to provide answers that he has no way of knowing either. Sunao resorts to physical violence since he cannot stand someone who forgets everything, which is something he does, and is something he is quite insistent on. Otherwise he is quite reserved yet checking back and spotting Sora watching him in class he sticks his tongue out at him. After he helps bring Sora back from his Yoru personality Sunao brings others to help him. When it is suggested that Sora thank Sunao for saving him he peeks round a curtain and stares at Sora until he says something. He makes a show of refusing to work with Sora to then doing so and was adamant that they have not made up or anything.
Matsuri Honjou[]
Happily entering Sunao and Sora's room he checks to make sure they are not going to be late for class. Not telling Sora of his new roommate to keep it a surprise he joins their hands and comments that it must be the workings of destiny. Founding the do-it-all club he is pleased to invite Sunao and Sora as members and will not have no as a answer. He tries to get them to stop fighting when they start bickering amongst themselves at having to work with one another. As the manager Matsuri runs the club where he appoints it Sunao and Sora's job to do the task of dressing up. He is fond of using his camera and happily confirms he was in fact the one who arranged for Sora and Sunao to try on their costumes.
Shinichirou Minato[]
Teaching maths whilst he maintains a teacher student relationship with Sora he also acts as a surrogate parent and a big brother. Aware that Sunao and Sora are childhood friends along with Namai he considers what their changed situation may mean.
Kai Nanami[]
Thoughtful he shows concern for Sora when he is sent to hospital. Considering his memory loss and that there may be another personality to Sunao he suspects that these matters may involve Aizawa. Serving as the school nurse he helps both Sunao and Sora.
Gaku Ichikawa[]
At finding Sora he initiates combat and is impressed with his reflexes. Gaku is pleased that he is out of hospital and plans a celebratory event for Sora. He is the assistant to Nagase and speaks affectionately of him.

Story Introduction[]
Sora awakens where he has no memories of who Sunao is where he introduces himself as Ran. Arriving in the morning Matsuri says both Sora and Sunao were childhood friends. Sunao is frustrated at Sora not knowing details he has no memory of either. As he heads for school Sora comes across Kai Nanami and then Gaku Ichikawa. In class Sunao discovers Sora looking at him so sticks his tongue out. For talking Sora joins Shinichirou Minato at the teacher's lounge and with Nanami they consider Sora's memory loss after he fell out a window and how Sunao may have another personality in him. Sora assumes his Yora personality and Sunao rescues him.
