At the beginning of the Taisho era (1912-1926).
Tatsuhiko visits his friend from high school, Lin Zhou, at the university where he works. When he visits Zhou's laboratory that day and tells him about the "hypnotism" that is all the rage, Zhou says it must be a fake. Tatsuhiko decides to try hypnosis on him, using him as an experimental subject. --The result is that Zhou shows up in a way that Tatsuhiko never expected. ......
