Synopsis[]
In 202X, the Adam Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. orchestrated the release of the Adam Virus, creating both the virus and a vaccine labeled "Eve." However, the vaccine did not work as intended, and the Adam Virus spread rapidly, turning people into zombies as it spread. Only three unified countries in the world remain. Following the unexpected death of one of the virus vaccine developers Dr. Oh Yangseok, a major from Rainbow City's army, of the United Nations, Kwak Suhwan, is tasked with becoming the bodyguard of Seok Hwa, a Chief researcher living in seclusion on Jeju Island, and brings him back to Seoul. Seok Hwa took over Dr. Oh’s research to continue developing a vaccine. With the Adam Virus mutating a countless number of times slowing down the development of a vaccine, the attacks on Rainbow City from the resistance, a group of rebels rejecting the tyrannical regime, only intensifies. In a time of turmoil, Seok Hwa questions the City’s policy focus on developing a vaccine but not a cure, and as a result, Kwak Suhwan and Seok Hwa become entangled....

Kwak Suhwan is a top graduate of the National Military Academy and is considered the "perfect mutant," but is known for his arrogance and lack of regard for rules. Rather than being punished for breaking into the Red Zone of Rainbow City (Notorious for its danger level), Suhwan was tasked with a new mission: Escort Seok Hwa, referred to by others as Dr. Stone, back to Seoul, and serve as his bodyguard. If he failed to carry out this mission, he would be sent back to the guardhouse.
Seok Hwa "Dr. Stone"[]
Seok Hwa is a Chief researcher at the Yeouido Shelter in Rainbow City. Coming from Jeju Island, he had top scores and was known for his mutant intelligence throughout life at the learning center. Despite being a mutant, though, he is also known to be physically weak. Previously, he worked in Seoul as a researcher alongside Dr Oh Yangseok, but returned to Jeju. With the passing of Dr Oh, he returned to continue in his research on the Adam Virus.
Story[]
In the late spring of 202X, an epidemic broke out in a small European city. Summer of the same year, infectious disease rapidly spread throughout Europe and other continents, including Asia. In the late summer of the same year, a vaccine was developed, but the virus mutated. A state emergency was declared all over the whole world, under the mission to preserve mankind, nations were united. Leaving only three nations existing today. Preserving mankind and its new prosperity. That is the supposed mission of Rainbow City. However, there is more to the city and its masters than meets the eye...
