Synopsis[]
One morning out of the blue, I was given an enormous amount of wealth and a man as my inheritance by my father. Despite not meeting even knowing my father's name or face, this man who's my heritage will never disobey me....!

Nam Jaeho[]
Living alone with his mother, he was unaware of his father's existence. A poor young man, he works hard to pay off his mother's debts. He suddenly heard from a man named Liu who visited him that his father had died. In accordance with the will left by his father, who was the president of the company, he inherited Liu, his father's secretary, and a huge fortune. Jaeho refused to inherit the inheritance and sent Liu back. Among the three conditions for inheritance left by his father in his will, there was an item that he considered inheritance to be accepted if he used the deposit given during a grace period of seven days. Eventually, Jaeho's mother found the hidden deposit, spent it all, and died of alcoholism, and he inherited the CEO position along with his inheritance. Jaeho was very angry with Liu because he made disparaging remarks about Jaeho's mother at first meeting, and persistently tormented him to kick Liu out of the company.

His real name is Mei Hua Lu(梅花鹿).[1] The Corporate Secretary, he has worked as an exclusive secretary to Nam Jaeho's father. A very capable secretary, he has been involved in various matters of the company during the chairman's lifetime. Liu was sympathetic to Shiren's pitiful situation, and became very close friends with him by handing out snacks and giving kindness to him. After the chairman's death, he visits Jaeho and delivers his will. The chairman suggested three conditions that Jaeho must accept for inheritance, and the second item was to include Liu in Jaeho's inheritance. Accordingly, he became part of Jaeho's inheritance. Since Jaeho took office as CEO, he has been taking charge of all the important tasks of the company on behalf of Jaeho, who is not good at his job. Liu dislikes Nam Jaeho very much for some reason, but unconditionally obeys his orders as a property of Jaeho according to the will left by Jaeho's father.
Mei Shiren(梅詩人)[]
A man who lived in the same neighborhood as Liu when he was a child, and was as close as his brother. He has lived a poor and hard life as a boy, being severely abused by his drug addict mother. He didn't have a name because his mother didn't give him a name, but Liu gave him the name Shiren, promising to live together like a real brother later. However, he began to show a fanatic obsession with Liu as he showed favor with him. At the age of 12, he joins a drug trafficking gang and goes to the hospital where Liu is hospitalized with the help of members of the gang to kidnap Liu. He imprisoned Liu in a gang's hideout and forced him to inject drugs and cause pain. Liu gained an indelible trauma along with the aftereffects of drug addiction due to this incident. Working in a drug trafficking organization, Shiren creates and distributes drugs.
Liegou(猎狗) [2][]
A gang member who traffickers drugs. He was captured by a gang and threatened with punishment for his parents' wrongdoing, and was sent to Shireen for use as a lab rat to test the effects of the drug. After that, he lived with Shireen, acting as a babysitter for the young Shiren. Fond of pampering him, Liegou had a pretty deep relationship with Shiren enough to have spent the night with him.

Trivia[]
- The title of "Obedient Heritage" which Totiko set when writing the plan was "Oppa and Bambi."
- When Totiko visited her grandmother's house, she was inspired by a Korean drama about all kinds of incidents that occurred due to inheritance issues her grandma was seeing, and she came up with the idea of inheriting person as inheritance, so she came up with the story of Obedient Heritage.
