Mr. Dior is a completed light novel series written by Lu Ye Qian He (绿野千鹤) that was released in 2018. The novel is complete with one hundred chapters with eight extras in total. It was published by jjwxc and Uei Shiang.
It has been adapted into an ongoing manhua which was illustrated by 原点格子漫画. First released in 2021, this has been published by Bilibili.
Synopsis[]
A ridiculous story about two presidents who have been married for seven years. In which, the one who’s scared of his wife hit his head too hard and suddenly became a truly domineering president.
One day, Zhang Chenfei met a car accident. Fortunately, he didn’t suffer any serious physical injuries. However, due to the impact of the car crash, his brain’s perception of the real world had turned into that of the novel that he was reading prior to the accident. The thing that horrified his wife, Jiao Qi, was… the Smart Brain, Louis XIII downloaded a series of books which meant that his husband would turn into a different character each time!
How will our adorable little wife deal with this kind of husband who seemed to suddenly suffer from multiple personalities?
This novel’s plot focuses on Zhang Chenfei’s changing personality based from the characters in the books, and how his wife, Jiao Qi, deal with every character as he will have to act in sync with whoever his husband’s character is. This is per the advise of the private doctor since treatment of this special condition was still under research.
As they act out their roles, they will gradually discover and learn more about the other, which they’ve never known in their seven years of living together.

Jiao Qi[]
The president of the Plantain Group who seeks out Zhang at hospital. Finding him and relieved he looks quite normal, Jiao focuses on how there are no missing limbs or anything. Asking if Zhang is alright and placing a coat over him, Jiao states he will go and get the doctor for him right away. Swearing, Jiao wants to know what Zhang means and in questioning if he hit his head, Jiao clarifies that his dad is rich when the topic of paying off a debt is raised. Ordering Zhang to let go and struggling to free himself, Jiao needs to get a doctor to do a brain CT scan on him. Polite when speaking with others, Jiao gives his apologies and asks police whether something is wrong. With AI authorization needed for Zhang's car, Jiao has the shared permission on his watch. Observing it, Jiao is troubled whether Zhang got into an accident due to his text. Troubled on what nonsense is he is talking again, Jiao allows Zhang to drive when he insists so asks where are they going. He tries to explain to others that Zhang is joking having been introduced as his wife as of now. Finding the scene of Zhang undressing to be very attractive, Jiao considers how with a sterialized cotton wool liner, coupled with that charming evil smile, it leaves him looking stupid where he has to stop himself laughing. Fine with them sleeping together, Jiao checks to confirm that Zhang does not have a fever. Wondering was he insane, Jiao contemplates how serious was he before sharing how they will have some difficulties in having a child when that is desired. Brought to Zhang's workplace, Jiao is sorry to disappoint him in reminding that his office is in the middle of the building. Informed that he will be working with Zhang now, Jiao blushes how he can say the words that he will relieve the president's desire in front of so many other people. For a long time, Jiao had never heard Zhang speak such obscene words and for a moment he actually felt a bit nostalgic. Assertive, Jiao addresses Zhang's staff to update them he will be working here in the near future. All the documents that will be signed by the president will be given to him, and Jiao details further that President Li's meeting shall be postponed where he is to come back tomorrow instead.
Zhang Chenfei[]
Clasping Jiao's arm, Zhang questions if he over-joyed at seeing he got into an accident before pulling him into an embrace. Stating how Jiao is already his wife, Zhang speaks as long as he is a good boy and listens obediently then he will help him pay off his father's debt. Saying to remember his name, he mentions it is Dior Zhang. Informing Jiao that he cannot escape from his palms, Zhang is conscious enough to note there are police present. When speaking to his AI, named Louis XIII, he requested help to reply to Jiao's text, and then to find him a novel and read it to him. Of Shi Fei technology, when Zhang is told to get in the car, he instead pushes Jiao in before questioning if he wants to take this opportunity to run away. Kissing Jiao passionately, Zhang says to not anger him, he would not be able to bear it. Speeding off, at arriving home, Zhang pulls Jiao out the car and announces to others that starting today they must call him madame. Proceeding to pick Jiao up and carry him over his shoulder, Zhang then slaps his behind while instructing him to be quiet. Tossing him onto the bed, Zhang then decides to open his own shirt. Speaking that since Jiao has married him, Zhang continues that he has to fulfil the obligations between a husband and wife, and that is to serve him well. Wondering why his wife is not acting as expected, Zhang reminds Jiao that he is here to pay for his father's debt, which includes sleeping with him and giving birth to his children. Flummoxed that Jiao is leaving, Zhang raises whether he has allowed him to leave the bed yet. Tossing a suit to him, Zhang states today Jiao will go with him to the company, and that he shall wear this suit today. Looking at Jiao's expression, Zhang knows he has never seen such a gorgeous suit. With Jiao asking what people around are whispering about, Zhang replies they must be curious as to which sweetheart he is holding today. Assuming his office is on the top floor, Zhang discusses how as an overbearing president, of course he should have an office with a 360-degree panoramic view and with a floor-to-ceiling glass window. Speaking how Jiao will work with him, Zhang is suspicious that he might be a corporate spy so moves to seduce him. Deciding to forgive him, Zhang shares how the password has changed so he had better behave and not think about scheming with the computer anymore.

Confirming that Zhang was involved in the accident from checking some notes, he shares with Jiao that he is in the emergency room. Questioning if Jiao is a family member, the doctor is shocked to see him dash away. Calling after him, he says for that family member to at least pay the deposit first.
Yu Yuan[]
Calling to director Jiao, he is handed a card where then asks the doctor where does he pay. Having joined Jiao who is with Zhang, he asks the doctor whether it is possible that the nerves on his facial area got damaged.
Jiao Zuoren[]
Mentioned as being rich, according to Jiao, he just bought 33-acres of land the day before yesterday at the city centre. Having heard from Li, he messages his son Jiao for him and Zhang to visit.
Police[]
Where two members have arrived at the hospital, coming across the scene of Zhang having pulled Jiao on top of him, they need to speak to the former about the accident. Detailing they have found the dashcam in Mr. Zhang's car, an officer states it needs an AI authorization to check it. Handed Zhang's watch, a member notes it is already broken. Watching the recording, an officer asks who Louis XIII is, to hear from Jiao that it is Zhang's AI. Intending to take the video to acquire a copy, an officer says there is no great responsibility from Zhang's side and they wish him a speedy recovery.
Doctor[]
A second doctor comes to inform Jiao that after multiple tests, it is confirmed that there is no problem with every physical function of his husband. She explains further that it is just there is a deviation in Zhang's perception of himself and the world. At this point in time however, they do not know how to treat this so she suggests how about Jiao bring Zhang home and observe him for a little while first.
Butler[]
Heading out to find Zhang is back, he is surprised by his behaviour. Asked how will dinner be prepared, he replies to cook some porridge and warm it up while waiting for the madame to eat. To himself he considers the taste of young people nowadays, and how this elderly person is unable to understand it anymore.
Zhang's Colleagues[]
Three members of staff, two men and a woman are awaiting Zhang to arrive at his office. Announcing that a document is to be signed today, there are other scheduled events such as a meeting at 10 o'clock this morning. Where it will be held in the meeting room on the top floor, the woman states she will remind Zhang again at 9.45. A man says that president Li just called and will be coming over at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Their hurriedness is replaced with intrigue when Zhang begins speaking to Jiao about him working there. While Zhang elaborates on how Jiao will be his personal assistant serving tea and pouring water, when they are issued directives by Jiao in the place of their own president, they comply with his orders at once. When the woman returns to share the meeting is about to start, she is startled having come across Zhang on top of Jiao.

Zhang in hospital when Jiao joins him
At a hospital a doctor is asked by Jiao Qi on whether Zhang Chenfei was involved in an accident. When the doctor reveals he was, Jiao heads to the emergency room. With a deposit needed to be paid, Jiao passes a card to his secretary, Yu Yuan. Finding Zhang on a hospital bed with his head bandaged, Jiao's arm is taken. Mentioning how he will help pay off his father's debt, Zhang wants Jiao to remember his name, which he gives as Dior. Confused, Jiao replies his dad is rich before asking since when has he owed anyone money.
Raising whether he is okay given his demenour
With police having joined them, they request to view the dashcam footage from Zhang's car. From the recorded conversation, Zhang was read a book by his AI named Louis XIII. The story involved a woman forced to marry that domineering man to pay off her father's debt. Another doctor informs Jiao that there is nothing physically wrong with Zhang where taking him home would be best. Although Jiao thinks otherwise in regards to Zhang's demenour, he settles on taking them home.[1]
As Jiao walks hand in hand with Zhang, girls around comment on how they are handsome. While Zhang is told by Jiao to get in the car, he wants to drive instead. Arriving home, Zhang introduces Jiao to household staff members as his wife starting today, even though they have been together for seven years. As Zhang then lifts and carries Jiao inside, the butler and maids are unsure of what to make of the scenario.
Undressing before Jiao in the bedroom, Zhang states how now they are married he has to fulfil the obligations of the wife.[2] Lying in bed together, Jiao mentions how Zhang's desire for him to give birth might not be that easy. After showering, while in bed, at finding the air conditioner in the room to be so cold, Jiao and Zhang sleep close together under the blanket.
By morning, Zhang wants Jiao to come to his work before they eat breakfast together. Walking through the city holding hands, when Zhang comments those whispering must be curious about which sweetheart he has, Jiao questions if he has other lovers. Children gathered note president Jiao being here before he and Zhang enter the elevator. While Zhang pushes the top floor, Jiao is aware the location of his office is in the middle of the building, explaining since it provides a more convenient escape should an accident or disaster occur.[3]
Arriving at his office, Jiao and Zhang are met by three colleagues. A document needs to be signed today, with meetings including one with President Li scheduled. Ignoring them entirely, Zhang speaks to Jiao how from today on he will be working here. While Jiao enjoys the talk, he then issues directions for Zhang's staff to carry out.
As Jiao busies himself on a computer, Zhang feels something is wrong. Wondering how Jiao knows his password, Zhang is asked what is so strange about that. Close to him, Zhang has concluded that Jiao is a corporate spy sent by Wang-shi. Confirming that it was a pretence, Zhang speaks that the fact that his father owed him a debt was the pretence. Loosening his tie, Zhang had already said the price of betrayal could not be withstood.
When a staff member enters the office to share the meeting is about to begin, she is alarmed to find Zhang over Jiao where they are visualized as having dog and cat features respectively. Although Zhang has changed the computer password, Jiao guesses it is 0826. Alarmed, Zhang questions how he knows, to which Jiao replies that is his birthday.[4]
