Love Stage!! is a completed manga series written by Eiki, Eiki and illustrated by Taishi Zaō. Released in 2010 it has been serialized in Asuka Ciel. An anime adaption aired on Summer 2014 where it was broadcast Thursdays at 01:05 (JST). The anime was produced by Kadokawa Shoten, licensed by Sentai Filmworks and was by J.C.Staff. There is a sequel titled Love Stage!!: Chotto ja Nakutte.
A related series is Kozouya Dokuhon Chronicle: 15th Anniversary Memorial Book. There is a spin-off series named Back Stage!!, and a doujinshi release titled If Stage!!.
Synopsis[]
Sena Izumi is an eighteen years old college student (and also an otaku), born into a super famous and talented family. With a mother who's a movie star, a father who's a singer, and His older brother, Shougo, being the lead vocalist of the popular band, "The Crusherz". He dreams of becoming a mangaka, although he lacks the talent for it. But one day he ends up starring in a TV commercial, a sequel to a commercial Izumi starred in 10 years earlier being dressed up as a girl, Where he's reunited with Ichijou Ryouma, a very popular young actor,who starred with Izumi in the commercial , and fell in love with Izumi thinking of him as a girl. but then, Even when Ryouma finds out Izumi is a boy, His feelings didn't change...

Izumi Sena (瀬名 泉水 Sena Izumi)
Izumi is the main protagonist of the story. He is a 18 years old otaku and college student, dreaming of becoming a mangaka. he starred in a TV commercial 10 years earlier dressed up as a girl, and since then he refuses to get involved in the entertainment industry. He is a big fan of the Magical girl Lala-Lulu anime.
Ryōma Ichijō (一条 龍馬 Ichijō Ryōma)
Ryōma is a popular young actor. he fell in love with Izumi as a child, mistaking him for a girl. after Izumi and Ryoma reunited and he found out about Izumi being a guy, his feelings didn't change.
Rei Sagara (相楽 玲 Sagara Rei)
Rei is the family's manager. he has been taken in by Seiya Sena (Father of Sena family) when he was 18, and has been living with the family since then.
Shougo Sena (瀬名 聖湖 Sena Shōgo)
Shougo is Izumi's older brother. If there's any problem with Izumi, Rei contacts Shougo.
Shougo usually dotes on his younger brother. Shougo has been in love with Rei since he was 16 and it is the reason why he joined "The Crusherz".
