Leon is a character from Dark Fall, the manhwa by Darulung. Once a ruler, Leon has been deposed by his own followers.
Background[]
Finding he has no memories
Reigning over Dark Fall, he felt it was a region that never changes. Regarding it as a land that sucks the life out of things since it is not capable of producing anything on its own, Leon felt there was no way he would want to rule forever. It is commented on that Leon was not originally from Dark Fall.
His followers include Nergal along with Mephisto then Deus and Beryl. Very aware that they only work together on account of his strength, where mana is a source of his power, when Leon lost his he felt he knew he was done for. Leon feels there was never a bond between them.
He once killed his people and more innocents just for looking for Cliff who has been long lost. Leon is considered by some to be the real villain.
Characteristics[]
He does not respond strongly to major changes. From the loss of his power, to finding himself in a dungeon after he once reigned as king, while that may be jarring to others, Leon remains level-headed. For his predicament Leon considers he should be happy they have not killed him yet where he is neither struck at that possibility. In such cases Leon focuses on what he can do to overcome a matter.
Comments on intelligence are occasionally made, both on others being stupid to not realize something, and himself should he find himself in a predicament. Correcting that he was trying to hide that he had lost his powers, Leon wonders if Nergal and others ever stopped to think that they might have been too stupid to catch on sooner.
Aspirations[]
A goal of his is to evade the others forming a connection with himself. To avoid the demons he despises as one example, Leon is prepared to work with those such as Nergal if there is little other practical option available. At this point, Leon thinks all he must do is survive.
Relationships[]
Nergal[]
Assisted by Nergal in ruling, Leon thought he was always unreadable behind that fake smile of his. Hearing Nergal has lived in their realm the longest, Leon seeks his views on matters.
Mephisto[]
Regarding Mephisto as a loyal henchman who follows Nergal he sees him as someone who tends to stay in the background. Having not paid much attention to him, it is to the point Leon is unfamiliar with his library based study. Having never exchanged more than a few words, Leon has no idea what he is like.
Deus[]
Considering Deus the worst of the group, Leon could effortlessly defeat him before he lost his powers. Leon feels Deus still harbours hostility to him despite having surrendered to his power.
Beryl[]
When Beryl was brought as a candidate to potentially serve, Leon felt he was different to the others. Leon regards him alone as honest, loyal, and kind which is why he trusts him. Admired by Beryl, he was sure he would never be betrayed.
Cliff[]
Leon loved Cliff so much, but Cliff left him. It is later revealed that Leon desires to find Cliff before he dies.
