Kondou Seiichirou is a character from The Affairs of the Other World Depend on the Corporate Slave, a novel and manga by Wakatsu Yatsuki. Settled into working and little else, even after being transported to another world, Seiichirou would tend to accounting matters along with co-workers Norbert Baranek and Helmuth Sommelier. His efficiency would overhaul the department, and Prime Minister Kamil Calvader would praise him as he prepared for an expected outbreak of miasma upon the world. Essentially someone who derives peace of mind from work, even while withered by the detrimental physical health effects, Seiichirou's contentment with a self-ruining lifestyle would be addressed by the captain of the Third Knight Order, Indrak Aresh.

Feeling the only good thing about being Assistant Section Manager is the title, Seiichirou thinks his position means his bosses and staff push him to take odd jobs.
After trying to help Shiraishi Yua, Seiichirou was brought along with her to another world. For some reason, Seiichirou can read and understand the new world's language, where everything is automatically translated, and he needed help understanding the Arabic-appearing script. While he does not know how it works, Seiichirou thinks maybe it is an apology from God for abducting him from another world.
He has money from both his salary and the allowances for his living expenses granted to him by the Prime Minister. Accustomed to dealing with numbers, Seiichirou recognizes that the eight large silver coins are equivalent to 8000 Rula, which would equal 200,000 Yen. He is also exempt from paying for rent, utilities, and any food that he eats in the hallway. His payment from Mr. Helmuth of 30 silver coins, and on what that can buy, Seiichirou feels it is decent pay.
When asked if he slept adequately, even when the dark circles under his eyes seem really bad, Seiichirou notes that as he gets older, he cannot get rid of his fatigue even if he sleeps. After taking a supplement Norbert gave him, Seiichirou reports his head is super clear, and chronic migraines, sore shoulders, and heaviness in his body have all disappeared. Further, where it did before, Seiichirou's stomach does not hurt, he no longer feels like throwing up, and his neck, shoulders, and waist do not go numb.

Thinking matters through thoroughly, Seiichirou processes that math is a concept, and as long as he knows the concepts, he can naturally understand the foundation of this world. Even when he has yet to learn common knowledge in this world, Seiichirou is not even sure if the numbers are the same. Seiichirou thinks math is also based on concepts, so as long as he remembers the rules, the methods should not differ. Thinking about the future, he is concerned that the damage from the haze will begin by first contaminating the vegetation and then spreading to animals before becoming an epidemic amongst the populace. Seiichirou advises Shiraichi that the truth should be carefully assessed to discern whether the mentioned statements, such as that she is a saint brought here to save the kingdom, are accurate.
His sensibleness concerning situations is also applied to people. Wondering to himself if it is true that only the saint can solve the problems of the haze, Seiichirou considers how magic exists in the world, so he will need to learn about that, too, as he plans to deal with various scenarios. Reading into what others have said, Seiichirou interprets Rowder's comment that he is from the laundering department as inferring that perhaps someone is laundering the funds of the royal palace that was in mind. From Indrak's alert that the Prime Minister has his eyes on him, Seiichirou deduces that he and the knights outside must have heard his conversation with Shiraishi. While he was trying to hint to the saint that she had no idea what she had gotten herself into, Seiichirou guesses from the kingdom's perspective that it might be seen as a meddlesome existence, but nothing will come from just worrying about it.
Feeling early is better than being late. Seiichirou is invested entirely in work. Ignoring health ailments, even browsing the wares of a new world, is done with improving his work proficiency in mind. Taking a supplement to alleviate serious health issues, Seiichirou appears genuinely happy at what a wonderful world this is, as he can work as much as he wants. With his refinement of the accounting department, Seiichirou affirms that it is evident that the department changes will generate hatred among others. Yet, if they clearly define the reasons for refusal this time, there will be no reason to accept faulty applications hereafter. Prudently being quite lenient with revisions not to invite any opposition, Seiichirou explains it will take time, but he is sure it will be a smooth transition. At hearing that magic can rupture his vital organs, Seiichirou thinks he does not want to die; there are still documents for him to review.

Working out of habit, after visiting a bookstore, Seiichirou acquires grocery produce as he intends to cook. His first request was for an accounting-related job after being transported to a new world. Speaking to Sommelier, he requests that you check out some books about math basics. While his new dinner consisted of a buffet-style meal and a significant public bath available, Seiichirou tended to preparations considering counting numbers, time, days in a year, and currency as he familiarized himself with the new formats.
Regarding the numbers, what Seiichirou was most curious about was that they were the same as the Arabic numerals from his world. Working at the Royal Palace Section, Seiichirou processes how the morning of the first day at work was spent being introduced to his co-workers over tea. The job he was given on his second day was sorting documents. Investigating the automatic language understanding, Seiichirou wrote something in Japanese and showed it to Norbert (who he asked to knock quietly). His devotion to work results in him thinking of how it has been restricted to eight hours a day, and Seiichirou does not comment on whether he has been eating too little. He arrives early and finds the room cluttered; Seiichirou cleans it by dusting the books. When acquiring an abacus to help him, Seiichirou does not let up and disregards the mention that pushing himself will take a toll on his body since a supplement he takes can blow away all that tiredness.
In town with Norbert, they enjoy activities such as drinking at a café. Seiichirou seeks ink and paper for personal use. He is keen on a quill with magical ink that requires no refills. For 600 Rula, he buys ten bottles of the supplement that helps him sleep. With it being three days since he was abducted, Seiichirou meets the woman he arrived in the world with, Shiraishi. Not knowing what dangers she would face as the anointed saint, Seiichirou is wary that as long as the haze troubling this world disappears, those who brought her will not care what happens to her, even if she dies.
Despite his misgivings about being promoted to Assistant Director of the Accounting Department, Seiichirou moved into his new post immediately. Being promoted, Seiichirou maintains his friendly relations with Norbert and Sommelier, the latter who he works beside now. Even though he turned in the report from yesterday, he still needs to be done, and Seiichirou sets about calculating the total amount of damages in the future based on previous damages by the haze. Feeling it is the job of the higher-ups to figure out the solution, Seiichirou decides he needs to learn more about the haze and the saint.
