Chiaki and Kazuma have been brought up like brothers, but as they get older, their relationship starts to change. One night, when Chiaki's staying over, Kazuma is woken by strange sounds coming from the futon next to him, only to find Chiaki touching himself... Kazuma offers to help him out, and his touch confuses but excites Chiaki. As they touch one another, Kazuma sees a look on Chiaki's face he's never seen before... After they come down from their high, Chiaki avoids Kazuma's gaze because he doesn't want Kazuma to see how flushed he is, and also because he's finally realized his true feelings for his friend. Following on from that day, the two of them touch each other like it's some kind of game...
Characters[]
Kazuma[]
The former captain of the soccer team, Kazuma raises if the younger members are not being rude. Declining to swing by the arcade, Kazuma has plans with Chiaki and Tomoe. Chiding others for their comments on Chiaki, Kazuma mentions if they say anything more he will slug them. Since they were children, Kazuma felt Chiaki had always been helpless. Before he knew it, Kazuma realized he had to be the one to protect him, which is the same even to this day. Having not told his mom, or anyone about his leg injury except for Chaiki, he is not overly concerned with it rather accepts what the doctor has said. Wondering if Chiaki is having a nightmare, Kazuma then casually asks whether he is playing with himself. Commenting he does not have to be so scared, Kazuma is not mad or anything, and he did want to see his face. While Chiaki is having his hair cut, Kazuma tells him it looks good. Having work today, Kazuma states he will be home late. Telling Chiaki that even if it is Summer vacation, that he cannot just sleep all the time, Kazuma has left him breakfast.
Chiaki[]
Doing small, odd jobs on the student council, Chiaki is fine with also teaching Kazuma to help with his studies. Asking whether Tomoe wants to stay over as well, Chiaki is also inquisitive as to Kazuma's plans concerning his future. Where Kazuma feels there is nothing he can do about having to quit soccer, Chiaki begins petting him. Not a morning person, Chiaki is fine with choosing a closer high school, plus he wants to be with Kazuma. Mentioning how Kazuma is overprotective, Chiaki also thanks him for it. Mortified at being discovered touching himself, Chiaki then kisses Kazuma and says he got caught in the moment. Having the day off from volleyball practice since it is before the exams, Chiaki considers how he has grown taller than Kazuma. Seeing the top of his head, Chiaki feels he is in love. Receiving a note of affection from a girl, Chiaki contemplates how it is not normal to assume what someone is like. Focusing on the words, Chiaki also wants to be able to say "I like you". Messaged by Kazuma and smiling, he feels it is a sign that it's going to be a great Summer. Hiding by reflex upon seeing him with a girl, Chiaki does not always ask upfront when having questions.
Tomoe[]
Demanding to know whether Kazuma is ready yet, Tomoe has arrived with Chiaki. Mentioning how playing soccer is fine and all, Tomoe asks Kazuma whether he does not have exams to study for. When she was five, Tomoe's parents passed away. Shocked at Kazuma studying on Saturday, she also re-checks if it is fine to cut Chiaki's hair before undertaking that task. In class with him, and questioning why he is smiling, Tomoe guesses it is because Chiaki was with Kazuma. Feeling that Kazuma will not be apart from him, ever, while Tomoe does not feel it is important, she passes a letter that some girl in her class asked her to give to Chiaki. On the bus, Tomoe calls Chiaki to share there are going to be fireworks next week.
Kazuma's Friend[]
Wanting to ask last time too, he questions why Kazuma is hanging around a plain guy like Chiaki.
Kazuma's Friend[]
Aware of the line of conversation, he attempts to stop a friend from speaking unfavorably of Chiaki in front of Kazuma. Mentioning that is a taboo topic, he details how he has been with them since elementary school and along with Tomoe describes them as three siblings.
Teacher[]
In class he mentions starting tomorrow is the Summer vacation.
Kazuma's Mother[]
Calling Kazuma to share that Chiaki is here, she asks the former whether he has eaten dinner. Where they are meeting up, she comments it is like they are kids again.
Story[]
As children, Kazuma and Chiaki find an abandoned ride from a playground and decide to make it their secret base. Where not even Tomoe can know, Kazuma affirms to Chiaki that it is a promise between men. Having grown, at school, Chiaki dismisses the words of two acquaintances concerning Kazuma, who has arrived with Tomoe. Where they were raised like siblings, Kazuma considers Chiaki in particular in how he had to protect him. While eating together, those gathered are surprised at Kazuma's intent to study.
In Kazuma's room, Chiaki questions whether he told his mom about his leg injury. On whether Kazuma is going to quit soccer after he gets into high school, he feels nothing can be done about it. Where they both mean to attend the same school, Kazuma is assured that he will have nothing to worry about either. Waking up in the night, Kazuma wonders if Chiaki is touching himself. Not fazed by that, rather remarking on the possibility of his mom waking up due to Chiaki's startled reaction, Kazuma then decides to help. Where they sometimes talk about perverted stuff, Kazuma considers how Chiaki even does stuff like this too. In the moment, Chiaki kisses Kazuma.[1]
