Gakuen Heaven (学園ヘヴン) is a Japanese media franchise having originated from the manga being written by SPRAY and illustrated by Higuri You. The game, Gakuen Heaven: Boy's Love Scramble was released on August 2, 2002 and developed by SPRAY. The franchise has expanded to feature further games, anime, drama CDs, and manga. In 2006, an anime adaptation of the same name was produced by Tokyo Kids.

Manga releases include Gakuen Heaven: Revolution in 2001, and Gakuen Heaven: Double Scramble - Kasahara-hen. Then Gakuen Heaven: Love & Sweet in 2004, Gakuen Heaven: Character Story - Nakajima-hen Returns in 2005 and Gakuen Heaven: Endou-hen - Calling You in 2006. These were followed by Gakuen Heaven: Shichijou-hen - Sweet Sweet Darling! in 2009. A character story is Gakuen Heaven: Character Story - Kazuki-hen.

Synopsis[]

Keita Itō, an average high school boy, is surprised to find out that he's been accepted into the elite and prestigious boarding school, Bell Liberty Academy ベル自由 学園 (Beru Jiyū Gakuen) Unnerved by the mystery, he's further distracted by the school's social dynamics. In a sea of amazing young men, Keita struggles to find out what makes him unique, and how he can possibly deserve to be treated as an equal by the students of Bell Liberty.

Itou Keita is a boy with no remarkable talents beyond his better-than-average luck, until one day he receives an acceptance letter out of the blue inviting him to attend the prestigious all-boys academy, Bell Liberty School (BL School). Why has he been admitted to this amazing academy, and how can he possibly live up to the expectations of whoever let him in? As he settles in to his new life, Keita is sure to find companionship in his rather eclectic cast of schoolmates.

Introduction[]

A story about a student named Itō Keita, an average teenage boy that gets accepted into an all-boys school for extremely talented young men. The boy doesn’t understand why he was accepted because he doesn’t have a special talent. When he gets there, a few people are giving him a hard time because they think that he doesn’t deserve to be there. His next-door roommate, Kazuki Endou, tells him not to take it so hard, and tries to cheer him up. They quickly become friends and look out for each other. But later it turns out that his next-door neighbor has a secret no one else knows about…

Feeling himself to be average with no special skills, Keita was surprised to receive a letter of administration from Bell Liberty Academy. Although it was all down to his luck, Keita remains friendly to those around him. At a young age, he had contracted the same virus that had also been affecting Hiroya Yoshizumi.

Preparing for Keita's arrival, Kazuki becomes his first friend and is content that Keita does not seem to remember him.
