My Darling Signed In is a completed manhwa written by New Lung and illustrated by Dimang. Released in 2017, it has been published and serialized in Tappytoon. While a digital release it has been officially published in book format by Wisdom House (위즈덤하우스) since October 26, 2018. Jaehyun plays as magician Lucia in an MMO and is in-game married to a warrior, Easen. Physically, Jaehyun attends business lectures with his friend Minjoon, where a new student, Eunsung has transferred.

Synopsis[]

Jaehyun may be the composed upperclassman on campus, but he secretly plays the hottest elven diva online with a love of pricey costumes. He meets Eunsung, a handsome first-year with deep pockets guarding his own secrets, at a school event. They connect instantly, but what begins as a sweet challenge becomes a risky game of affection on- and offline!

Characters[]

Yoon Jaehyun[]

In real life he is a 23 year old third year college student majoring in business. He is described as high maintenance when it comes to his image, having good manners, and he likes Letterman jackets, strawberry milk and games. His dislikes pastries with raisins. In the Illusion World game he plays as Lucia, a level 122 magician. As he has his character state how her in-game married partner will not regret choosing her, in person Jaehyun feels it is easy playing others for in-game equipment. He did not mean to play like this, it arised from his previous respected character having all his items stolen. Returning to the game Jaehyun found a small favour was a prelude to a whole new existence. Jaehyun describes Minjoon as looking almost like a movie star. Somewhat daunted in speaking to him, Jaehyun concludes Eunsung gives off a fierce vibe but he is not that aggressive and that he likes him. He checks Eunsung's phone since if he is protective it only makes him more curious. Jaeyhun is said to care a lot about what people think, hence the reason he accepted Eunsung's proposal.

Kang Eunsung[]

At 20 years old he is a new student majoring in business. Eunsung is famous for doing things his way and is also skilled at hiding his emotions. He favors dressing in casual suits and coats and likes fruit jellies, beef, and cute animals. His dislikes include spiders. In the same lecture hall as Jaehyun and Minsoon, he glares in their direction. He is popular with girls and they fawn over him at a restaurant as well. Brought over to sit with him, Eunsung introduces himself before reminding Jaehyun that he has not given his name. Hearing it, Eunsung recognises the name as one everyone talks about. Eunsung states he is really sensitive to smells and describes his girlfriend as a really beautiful person. Happy to return, Eunsung then receives a call and apologizes that he has to leave early tonight. He doesn't really act out, and is really docile towards others. He often gets really jealous when Jaeyhun gets hit on or too close to somebody (which btw happens often -_-).

Easen[]

The name of a game character who marries Jaehyun's Lucia character. A level 168 swordsman, finding her again he hugs Lucia and questions whether she missed him. He is described as a high-level player with a killer control so is pretty high in the rankings. It looks like he spends a lot of money on the game too and generously gives Lucia expensive items as gifts.

Park Minjoon[]

Jaehyun's college classmate, he becomes irked because Jaehyun was supposed to play Pocket Go with him. He describes Eunsung as the prince of class of '17 and can tell his height is over 190CM. Already sleepy in class, Minjoon wonders why it has to be this professor when being taught and proceeds to doze and snore. Learning that Eunsung was glaring at him as he napped, Minjoon takes a moment to consider in all seriousness whether Eunsung is into him. Minjoon then concludes that he is the type of guy that attracts others guys, and gleefully wonders maybe Jaehyun has a crush on himself as well. He is keen on attending an introductory meeting since there will be hordes of pretty freshman girls this year.

Han Jungwoo[]

Being the son of a famous politician at the age of 22, he and Jaehyun went and graduated from the same highschool. He gives off a friendly impression because of his gentle eyes, but he holds many secrets. Jungwoo has shown to be very protective of Jaehyun, even a little too much. So "protective" to the point where he claimed him as 'his' when talking to Eunsung and is shown to have somebody spy on Jaeyhun while he was out. He gives off some type of killing-stalking vibes (nah he probs some crazy Korean yandere or something..), dude was literally kissing a picture of him and Jaeyhun (probally from highschool) while saying he has to stay with him forever! He is rather manupulative, and considers Jaehyun to be his alone. And Jaeyhun can't seem to refuse anything he does even when he knows it's strange because he feels like he owes him so much for being the only standing and trusting him in his highschooler days. He is seriously crazy, having installed a whole camera in Jaehyun's home, where he can see his every moves. He elaborated a plan to create a bad reputation for Jaeyhun during highschool, so he could be seen as the "knight in shining armor" (more like walmart oikawa) that would help Jaeyhun, hence the reason he cannot betray Jungwoo.

Kim Saeyeon[]

She used to the quiet and shy kid when she was in highschool with Jaehyun and Jungwoo. Since she was socially akward, making friends proved to be difficult for her. But, when Jaeyhun began to sit next to her, she became more lively, resulting in them dating. She had financial problems at that time trying to maintain a somehow stable life with her grandma. When she got into some trouble that was too much to handle, she sought help from Jungwoo. She betrayed Jaeyhun and disappeared from his life, before reappearing with the help of Eunsung. Even if she betrayed and hurted Jaeyhun, she didn't do it by choice and is still very supportive and caring of him til this day. After she succeeds in building her life back up again (with the help of a certain someone), she decides to play Illusion World as an hobby. She creates a character with the name of "Haze" and makes friends, which proved to be difficult for her in highschool.

Lee Yeonwoo[]

He is one of the most famous game developpers at the age of 28. He's invented severals successful games such as "Illusion World". He comes back fromthe states to focus on his first game (Illusion world) because it,s popularity is decreasing. His first encounter with Jaeyhun was at the cinema. Then Jaeyhun met him in the game under the name of "Reian". People called him UberNoob because he would challenge high levels with beginner weapons, and manage to win. When he met Jaeyhun and Eunsung at the event held for the renewal of Illusion World, he offers him a position at his company Hi-game as gamemaster of the game, which makes Jaeyhun hesitate at first, but with the support of Minjoon and Eunsung, he accepts. It is also greatly hinted that he has a crush on Manager Kwon, as he tells Jaeyhun his secret, the latter also notices the great ressemblance between Manager Kwon and Reian.

Story Introduction[]

In an MMO, "Illusion World", a level 168 swordsman human Easen proposes to Lucia. Considering it a good catch, Jaehyun physically heads to the desk to pay for his time spent on the computer. On campus, Jaehyun and his friend Minjoon comes across girls fawning over transfer student Minjoon. In a lecture theatre Jaehyun notices and wonders why Minjoon is staring at him like that.

Receiving a group message, both Jaehyun and Minjoon join the social where Eunsung is also present. As they speak, Jaehyun asks to see a photo of Eunsung's girlfriend but the request is declined. Checking his phone after Eunsung heads to the restroom, Jaehyun is shocked to find that there are no pictures at all. Jaehyun vacates the restaurant shortly after Eunsung and finds him walking with a woman.

Returning to Illusion World, Lucia looks for her adorable patron. With Easen, her in-game marriage partner finding her, Lucia hints of a new outfit she greatly desires. Lucia delivers the perfect portrait of a girl who wanted the costume badly but did not want to ask for it directly. It does not quite hit the mark since Easen intends to take Lucia dungeon crawling.

Illusion World[]

The online MMO is in a medieval setting, there is a central square in the town of Elysium. Female characters can have long and wavy hair, the chest size can be increased. Players can hunt together and interact by hugging and exhibit body language and facial expressions.
