Synopsis[]

Yoon Haesin[]
Reflective on the matter of him shouting, Haesin contemplated whether Sangheon thought breathing the same air as him would rot his lungs, or if he felt disgusted by him. After Sangheon's display Haesin considered he had no reason to see him again. Hearing he is being counted on, Haesin tells his previous stepmother Junghee, and his father Jinbeom not to worry about it. All the while he thinks the bitter taste in his mouth is not only from the coffee. Inwardly gloom stricken Haesin has been feeling unexpectedly anxious since this morning. Preparing breakfast at the time Haesin had a bad feeling something would happen. He feels that Junghee's choice of becoming a tour guide would be tiring. Asked whether he could live with Sangheon he is flustered but has no choice to give into these kinds of situations. Answering he does not mind, Haesin thinks it is a matter of whether Sangheon will agree to this. Saying as much Haesin raises how it has already been ten years since he last saw Sangheon, but he does want to meet him. Thinking Sangheon probably will not come Haesin regards him as a poor thing, the boy will now be breathing air in the same place as him. Trembling and thinking honestly, Haesin wants to tell Junghee and Jinbeom that he does not want to live with Sangheon either. Asked if he is sick on account of how pale he looks Haesin provides the excuse he did not sleep well yesterday so feels a little tired. Retiring to the lavatory under the pretext he is answering his vibrating phone, there Haesin removes a vibrator from himself. Haesin updates Jaeyoung over the phone that it was used to help him relax since he was meeting his father and Junghee. Making sure to check he did not get anything strange on his clothes Haesin then wonders why he is being stared at by Sangheon who has just appeared and feels uncomfortable. Thinking he is not short, but neither is tall compared to Sangheon, in a good way he is manly. Haesin continues his thought process that in other words Sangheon is hideous. Haesin processes further that Sangheon's hair looks like he came out the prison, and most of all his eyes are awful. As a child Haesin enjoyed reading books alone in a quiet room and thought how Sangheon did not know anything but was good at pretending. Addressing him while lying shivering in bed Haesin commented how Sangheon pretending to know something he does not was awful so he should just keep it down. Affirming that the maximum size of a long-horned beetle is 14 centimeters, Haesin asked Sangheon what he meant when he was comparing it to his forearm. Remembering what he said last time to other children Haesin questioned why the Dharma is coming out of Journey to the West, it was Samjang Beopsaji as his upbraiding of Sangheon's confident stating of what he thought were facts continued. Seeing him again Haesin thinks Sangheon looks worse than when he was a kid. With Sangheon next to him at the table Haesin speaks pleasantries on how it has really been ten years, then convincingly remarks that Sangheon has gotten really cool. With Sangheon not responding Haesin thinks for him to not be so blatant, his beloved mother is looking at him nervously. Asking if Sangheon is going to be okay Haesin points out it is a little far from his school to the house where he lives. With Sangheon not inclined to live with him, but Junghee and Jinbeom earnestly pressing for him to do so, Haesin thinks for Sangheon to please win. Regardless Haesin comes to Junghee's assistance by joining in the conversation to reprove Sangheon's attitude. Asking if it is because Sangheon is a thug now, Haesin thinks in this atmosphere he has no choice but to say that then states for them to live together. Haesin is outwardly polite, while hiding inner doubts and anxieties, along with a vibrator kept in himself in a conversation with parental figures in a coffee shop. This does not stop him from being dependable. He is also to the point, calling out Sangheon's assertions, and later tactfully proceeding to a best outcome for his parent's and Sangheon's benefit.
Jung Sangheon[]
As a child with his mother Junghee he lived with Jinbeom and his father Jinbeom for eight months. He was seen as the captain who always leads the children of this neighborhood. Sangheon laughed on a Journey to the West conversation how Dharma was going to heaven with Son Wukong. Asking Haesin if he knew what, Sangheon explained how the long-horned beetle, once upon a time, was caught by adults then used to fight and play but commented that Haesin would not know because he is a bookworm. Declaring they were the size of his forearm, with the extent of his knowledge suddenly called into question Sangheon entered a state of fury and at Haesin before shouting he did not want to even breathe the same air with a different person on the inside like him. Articulating how Haesin has been so calm all this time Sangheon cannot believe it and announced he felt sick. Ten years later, having gone to the military Sangheon was against moving in with Haesin, informing Junghee as much. Beside him in the restroom, to seating himself next to Haesin he does not engage in conversation. Speaking that they are not going to live together Sangheon reminds Junghee that he will get a boarding house near the school.
Junghee[]
That she had something to tell Haesin was relayed over the phone. Meeting him in a coffee shop with her partner now friend Jinbeom, it has been around one year since Junghee saw Haesin. Presenting a Gyeongju related pamphlet Junghee shares she decided to work as a tour guide next week. Junghee expresses she finds it upsetting how people do not know much about Gyeongju and with this experience she is thinking of creating a small travel agency later. Knowing it is sudden Junghee moves to the topic of how there is not a place for her son Sangheon to stay at right now. She could rent a place for him to stay at but based on his personality it will just ruin his health. Junghee thought it would be better if someone was beside him, so after talking with Jinbeom she mentions if Haesin is alright with it could Sangheon live with him for a few months. Having spoken to Sangheon about it yesterday Junghee confides it did not seem like he would be willing to since Sangheon has never lived alone with someone else besides her, and so imagines he must be feeling uneasy. Based on the situation Junghee has already told Sangheon this is probably his best option. Noting that Sangheon is late Junghee told him to come by two, an hour has already passed so she will scold him harshly later tonight. Wondering if Haesin had an upset stomach, Junghee mentions Sangheon just arrived and whether they met. Alarmed at Sangheon's attitude Junghee speaks how he does not take care of himself properly, neither does he eat properly as she tries to steer him towards embracing the scenario of living with Haesin.
Jinbeom[]
Haesin's father, introducing him as a child to woman he was courting Jinbeom has changed family several times each time bringing Haesin with him. Overall Jinbeom has provided him with a fifth mother. After his relationship with Junghee ended after eight months they met occasionally as friends. Seated beside Junghee he drinks as she enquires whether Sangheon can live with Haesin. With the four of them together Jinbeom says alright to Sangheon, he is sure Haesin can manage something like eating properly so presses them to live together.
Kim Jaeyoung[]
Getting a phone call with him shouting Jaeyoung comments his ear is about to fall off questions whether it is Haesin. Wondering if the vibrator he provided to Haesin was thrilling, Jaeyoung requires details on whether he felt aroused.

Haesin questioned the facts Sangheon was saying, who replied he did not want to breathe the same air as him
Yoon Haesin recalls Jung Sangheon angrily leaving his bedroom with his mother. After that Haesin thought he had no reason to see Sangheon again. Meeting his father Jinbeom and Junghee at a coffee shop Haesin thinks how he got a call from his dad for the first time in a while. Junghee had made contact and passed an address to Haesin. It has been two years since his stepbrother went to the military and was discharged a few days ago. Junghee turns to the matter at hand and asks whether Haesin could live with Sangheon, who is late to this meeting to discuss it. Supposedly, Haesin's phone vibrates, and he retreats to a lavatory to relieve himself. Calling Kim Jaeyoung he demands to know why he would give him a vibrator with such a strong intensity. Washing his hands, Haesin finds Sangheon beside him. [1]
Junghee sees Jinbeom beside her as they press for Sangheon to live with Haesin
Evaluating his appearance and that he is definitely a physiognomist, it is recalled that Haesin's father's third wife brought Sangheon with her. When Haesin and Sangheon first met, the former deemed the latter difficult to get along with from the beginning. Time passed while they ignored and despised each other. Jinbeom and Junghee's relationship ended in eight months. On the day that Sangheon and his mother Junghee moved away from Haesin and his father Jinbeom, both boys spoke to one another. Haesin casted doubt on what Sangheon knew about the facts he was reporting, who in turn angrily replied he could not believe he was breathing the same air as him.
Presently Haesin rejoins Junghee at the table where Sangheon arrives too. When Sangheon indicates, he does want to live with Haesin and instead move into boarding accommodation Junghee and Jinbeom attempt to have him reconsider. Haesin interjects on their behalf to ask Sangheon in person for them to live together. [2]
