A Shoulder to Cry On is a completed manhwa by Dongmul thirty one chapters in total. First released in 2018, the chapters were serialized in Lezhin and Naver Series. The series was published in Lezhin and in English by Lezhin US. A live action TV series has been released in 2023.
Synopsis[]
Dayeol hears two guys fooling around in the nurse’s office and accidentally knocks over the curtain rod. When the nurse walks in on the scene, devilishly handsome Taehyun tells her that Dayeol tried to make out with him. Before Dayeol can correct the misunderstanding, the rumor spreads and his archery scholarship is in jeopardy. To make matters worse, Taehyun doesn’t show the slightest bit of remorse; in fact, he shamelessly begins hanging around Dayeol. It’s not long before the two begin walking the thin line between hate and love.

Unable to believe what is occurring in the bed next to him Dayeol can only wait for it to be over. He is angered at the lie that he was involved with Taehyun when the nurse finds them. Practising archery he wonders if he is doing the right thing. Whenever he has doubts Dayeol tells himself that he is better off than most people because at least he knows what he has to do. When he does not Dayeol kept breaking out in a cold sweat. He had gained a sports scholarship.

Finding that Dayeol knows what he is doing Taehyun motions for him to be remain silent. When the nurse finds them with Dayeol over him he changes to sobbing then adds that he told Dayeol to stop but he could not do anything about it. However Taehyun does not escalate it further when other teachers become involved and thinks they should let this go since they are both seniors. Confronted by Dayeol he raises that the teachers are going to let it go and Dayeol will not get in any trouble. He then questions whether Dayeol wants him to go back in there and say that he changed his mind, that he is not okay and is now too scared to go to the same school as him.

Story Introduction[]
In the nurse's office Lee Dayeol finds himself in an awkward position as in the next bed there are two guys fooling around. The dividing barrier collapses and as Dayeol asks if Taehyun is okay the nurse walks in to find Dayeol over him. The scene is reinforced as Taehyun puts on a display that Dayeol forced himself on him.
